We believe everyone has the right to be able to find, cook, and eat real food everyday, so we’ve developed a roster of courses that enable you to do just that. Whether it be learning how to make artisan sourdough bread, how to butcher your own meat, or how to find safe wild food for free, Loaf’s in-house staff and expert external tutors will guide you through every step of the process. Courses take place at our brand new high street cookery school in Stirchley, South Birmingham. With its on-site community bakery and wholefood co-operative shop it’s more of a food hub than just a cookery school, and you can see for yourself how we’re putting our values into practice.
Loaf Cookery School operated for over two years from the home of Loaf director Tom Baker, and we’ve stayed close to our roots designing the new cookery school to operate like a domestic kitchen and with a comfortable separate dining room where we can share the fruits of our labours. You’ll be able to take what you learn with us straight back to your own kitchen and start reproducing the magic at home.
